Dragon Signs Delivers AllSaints Graphics with Drytac’s Polar Smooth 150 Air R

UK-based signage and advertising company Dragon Signs used Polar Smooth 150 Air R to create a series of striking graphics for installation across multiple AllSaints stores.

Dragon Signs, a UK-based signage and advertising specialist, recently used Drytac’s Polar Smooth 150 Air R matte white polymeric film to produce a series of eye-catching, digitally printed hoardings for leading fashion retailer AllSaints.

A diversified business, Dragon Signs originated in Cardiff but now provides design, fabrication, and installation services for a wide range of signage solutions, including illuminated signs, wayfinding systems, and vehicle wraps across the UK. Its Dragon Digital division also offers specialist expertise in digital display projects.

For this project, Dragon Signs was commissioned by RSK Consultancy – a specialist construction company focused on shopfitting, office refurbishments, and interior design – to create digitally printed vinyl graphics for several AllSaints retail locations across the UK. Founded in London in 1994, AllSaints now operates more than 280 stores worldwide.

Facing a demanding deadline, Dragon Signs chose Drytac’s Polar Smooth 150 Air R – a 6 mil (150µ) phthalate-free, self-adhesive matte white PVC film designed for easy installation. Its thicker profile, combined with bubble-free removable adhesive technology, made it easier to handle and apply with precision. Ideal for decals, wraps, murals, and window or wall hoarding graphics, it proved to be the optimal solution for achieving a clean, efficient installation under time constraints.

“With just 48 hours from sign-off to completion and only a six-hour window to install 100 sq m of digitally printed vinyl, time was a major constraint,” said Ray Jones, Business Development Manager at Dragon Signs. “We needed a durable material with a matte finish that didn’t require lamination, saving both time and effort during installation.

Polar Smooth 150 Air R’s advanced bubble-free technology made it ideal for fast, hassle-free application onto the plastic hoarding. And because the installation was in shopping centre, the Meadowhall Centre in Sheffield, it was critical to use a material with a Class 0 fire rating – which this product provides.”

The designs were printed in-house at Dragon Signs using its HP Latex 800W printer, and the installation was carried out on-site by the company’s specialist team. To date, Dragon Signs has collaborated with RSK and AllSaints on projects at three UK retail locations.

“The customer was extremely happy with the final result,” Ray added. “We’re delighted that Dragon Signs has been able to support a global brand such as AllSaints with high-profile projects like this.”
